An insurance claim is the defining moment for our service and the reason we are in business! At Apio, we are committed to deliver superior claims experience to our customers.

It’s when a loss occurs that you really need your policy to respond and we are fortunate enough to manage the majority of our claims “in house” on behalf of our insurer partners. We understand that fast claims service and efficient claims handling is essential to help our clients resume their lives and operations to get back to their day-to-day business activities as quickly as possible.

Apio has a dedicated team of claim experts with many years of experience and expertise in managing claims.

To assist with the smooth processing of claims, the information below is typically what is required:

Motor accident claim

  • Completed claim form
  • SAP case number
  • Legible copy of ID document and drivers licence
  • Quote for repairs from an approved panel beater
    (please also ensure that the panel beater
    is Manufacturer approved as this will affect your warranty)
  • Third party details if applicable

Do’s and Dont’s when in a Motor Accident

Motor theft claim

  • Completed claim form
  • SAP case number
  • Legible copy of ID document and drivers licence
  • Confirmation of outstanding finance (if applicable)

 

General All Risk (lost/damaged)

  • Completed claim form
  • Quotation for repair and/or replacement
  • Damage report from service provider (if damaged)

 

General All Risk (stolen)

  • Completed claim form
  • Proof of ownership (where applicable)
  • Replacement quote
  • SAP case number

 

Cellphone claim

  • Completed claim form
  • Confirmation of blacklisting
  • Damage report from service provider
  • Replacement quote
